Best cellular network for MV route

Hello to all,
I plan to do a solo ride of the complete MV in May.

I plan to purchase an eSIM for my phone and was wondering which network provides the most extensive coverage across the whole of the MV route. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I understand that there are many areas which have no cellular coverage. I will also bring along a satellite communicator for SOS situations.

Hi!! Go for Movistar or Vodafone, they’re slightly ahead of Orange. Try to discard the rest since they will route your calls in a secundary priority.
Anyway, differences between the three main operators are smaller since in plenty of base stations they share infraestructure, what are good news for everybody…
Good idea to carry a Satellite device. Now I use a Garmin inReach Messenger after some years using Spot Gent3, and both work perfectly in the area…

What device/app do you use for navigation? I was planning to use RWGPS on my Iphone, with offline tracks.

A really old Garmin eTrex 30x. And as a backup, the Oruxmaps app.
